First Horse
My first horse was a sorrel named Dolly. We call her old Dolly now cause I named another horse after her. She was my granddad's horse first. He use to walk all of us kids (20 grandkids) around the yard on her back until he got sick and couldn't do it anymore. After he died, we moved up to the "home place" and I was gonna ride Dolly up there...a whole 3 miles! I was 7 years old. I remember getting to the corner of the field and Dolly turned around and raced for home. She got back to the house, stopped under the plum tree and I fell off into the bigge
Found my Horse On facebook
I sold my most favorite horse of all time, when I moved to AZ. A palomino that I used for driving. He was an awesome show horse. He drove, perfect in showmanship, Pleasured both western and English, a good jumper and he loved Team Penning. I bought him as a yearling and had him for 14 years. We traveled all over. I have missed him greatly. I found him on the internet under www.facebook.com/knotatail sits. How cool is that. I get to talk with his owner now and keep-up with their showing career. I love it! Thanks Knot-A-Tail.
