American Quarter Pony
I vote for the American Quarter Pony.
The foundations sires for the AQHA were small. Some hardly making the 14.2 hands limit. They were solid, muscular and breed to run the quarter mile. I breed the American Quarter Ponies, and nothing will make a kid more happy. Lever headed, larger enough for an adult and small enough for a child, and hardy enough to take them to the winners circle. Perfect combinations.
Gypsy Vanner Horses
I love these. I can not wait to find one to use as a Driving horse. I think they would be perfect for competition. I love the flow of the feathers, and their colors are magnificent. I bet they are great for a beginning Dressage horse as well. Love them to much not to find me one and find one soon.
Friesians!
Though I am a western rider at heart, my absolute FAVORITE breed ever is the Friesian. Their bodies are built with such power and strength, yet somehow they move as if they were ballet dancers. I love it when they are sleek and shiny, with the sun beating down on them, shining off of them, wind in their beautiful hair... etc! I like to think of myself in comparative to them, Beautiful, Graceful, Elegant, yet Strong and Powerful!
